Eating alone can be an everyday occurrence, but can sometimes be quite exhausting, whether it's solo dining in a restaurant, as a situational single eater or because you live alone. The lunch group talks about your own habits when eating alone and advocates a creative approach to classic cooking and eating traditions.
The fact is that as a single person in a restaurant, you are reluctant to be given a table or even refused one. On the other hand, eating alone at home in front of the fridge or in the home office without social control is liberating and can also promote mindfulness. Is eating alone even healthy or do people eat differently when they eat together?
Topic Eating alone - at the lunch table with Samuel Herzog January 12, 2024 In this episode of "Be our guest", Samuel Herzog, artist, author and journalist - among other things, he wrote the "Mundstücke" for the NZZ and is the discoverer of Lemusa Island - sits at the lunch table with us. Elisabeth Sinstadt, responsible for advice and sales at the museum, lives and eats alone most of the time now that her children have moved out. Johanna Bardill, cultural mediator in a student job, is currently completing her master's degree in agricultural sciences and lives in a shared flat in Zurich. Pius Tschumi runs the museum Mühlerama and has baked pizza for everyone.
