Brunch - Feeding Fields, Moving Meadows

Using the example of alpine sweet grasses, designer Philipp Kolmann and artist Suzanne Bernhardt prove that even seemingly barren soil can produce a lot. Following in the footsteps of displaced peasant food cultures and their interaction with humans, animals and the landscape, the two create a new variety of culinary creations from one and the same plant family - the Poaceae or sweet grasses.

Museum store

We carry a wide range of flours from different grains - but not only! In the museum store you will find kitchen items, baking and cooking books, snacks, games, Gschänkli and much more.
Of course, vouchers (for the museum, store, courses) are also available.
Selected flours are available at the following branches of Buchmann Beck: Binz, Hubertus, Max Bill (Oerlikon), Rieterplatz, Seefeld and at Walter!

We not only knead dough and heat up the oven, but also sharpen knives and swing wooden spoons.

We are a TiM museum

Do you fancy a visit to the museum with a stimulating companion? In "Tandem in the Museum" you roam through our historic mill with a TiM guide and make up a story together. "TiM" is suitable for people of all ages. One "TiM" museum visit is free. You can find our TiM guides and more information at www.tim-tam.ch

 

Evenings at the Museum - Every Wednesday until 9 pm

Wednesdays at 18.30 there is a guided tour of the mill à 30 min. 

Entrance fee CHF 15.-/ 9.- (free aperitif drink included).
You are welcome to continue exploring the museum afterwards until 9 p.m. or to stay in the bakery for an aperitif.

Do you know our bakery with a view of Lake Zurich? We rent it out for seminars, workshops, team building and also for private parties!
