Be our guest: Mühlerama Podcast

Sweet grasses

We are grass people, through and through. Almost everything we eat comes from a blade of grass. Grains but also dairy products and even meat have their origin in sweet grasses like corn, wheat or rice.

Suzanne Bernhardt and Philipp Kolmann take an artistic and culinary look at the diversity of sweet grasses and their taste and preparation worldwide. The lunch panel chats about the fascination of the more than 12,000 species of sweet grasses (Poaceae), about the specially prepared lunch and the artistic project "Feeding Fields, Moving Meadows".
