Tiny Giants.
The Power of Microorganisms

September 5, 2026 – May 17, 2027

The exhibition offers insights into the hidden world of microorganisms and their importance for the environment, nutrition, and health. The latest scientific findings are vividly conveyed through images, objects, and installations, revealing what normally remains hidden from the human eye. The artistic works create new ways of approaching complex topics at the intersection of science, society, and culture.

To accompany the exhibition, a varied program of special events and workshops awaits you in the coming months. New dates will be posted regularly—so it’s worth checking back often.

Let the exhibition curator guide you through “Tiny Giants”:
Twice a month, we offer a guided tour with exhibition curator Alessandra Hitz or Pius Tschumi.
One tour on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and one on Sunday at 11 a.m.
