Sake & (Hi)Stories

Tasting with Yoshiko Ueno-Müller 上野ミュラー佳子

The Japanese national drink sake has a history of around 2000 years and reflects the landscape, culture and history of the region. However, the story is made up of individual personal stories of people involved in sake production as owners of the family business, which is several hundred years old, as master brewers, as nameless brewery workers and so on. The author of the award-winning book "SAKE - Mythos. Craft. Pleasure." Yoshiko Ueno-Müller presents 5 selected sake and their history for tasting.

At this sake tasting, different varieties will be tasted than at the event on the following day.

The book "SAKE - Myth. Craft. Genuss." can be purchased during the event at the special price of CHF 55.- (instead of CHF 65.-) and can be signed by the author on request.
