Korean cuisine - Korean street food

with chef and author Ae Jin Huys

"Mayak gyeran" literally means "drug eggs". According to Koreans, the name was once invented by a market vendor at Gwangjang Sijang, one of the oldest and largest traditional markets in South Korea. As a kind of sales tactic, the market vendor developed "Mayak Gimbap", a smaller version of "Gimbap", the popular rice rolls made from seaweed. Since then, several names of dishes with the name "mayak" have been developed. "Mayak" or "drug" refers to the irresistible taste that makes you want more.

In this course, chef and author Ae Jin Huys demonstrates not only the infamous eggs but also other popular Korean street food specialties that are guaranteed to get you hooked.

This course is suitable for vegetarians (please specify under "Comments") and will be held in English with course materials and recipes in German and English.
