Bake your first real sourdough bread with a passionate Italian sourdough baker. During the workshop, Grazia from Grazia’s Baking will introduce you to Grannie, her Lievito Madre (Italian-style sourdough). We’ll explore the liquid and stiff versions of Lievito Madre and how to use them in a basic no-knead method perfectly suited for home bakers. In this class, we’ll discuss the unique characteristics of different grains, the sustainability of sourdough baking, and how to choose the right flour for sourdough fermentation. This beginner-level class will set you on your sourdough journey. The workshop will be conducted in English.

is the maker behind Grazia's Baking. Motherhood gave her the opportunity to slow down and experiment with her Lievito madre "Grannie". Grazia is passionate about teaching home baking techniques and skills in English with a charming Italian accent. She has lived in the Middle East for more than a decade where she developed a great love and deep understanding of the local cuisine. She loves to combine Italian and Middle Eastern flavors while celebrating the Mediterranean.
