Burek, the delicious layered pastry made of paper-thin, crispy dough and savory or sweet fillings, originally comes from the Middle East and the Balkans and is now well-known here as well, thanks to the respective communities.
In this course, Zyher Nikqi not only shows us how to prepare the dough from simple ingredients, how to make it wafer-thin and how to make burek in different shapes, but also reveals the recipes of her mothers and grandmothers.
As the dough ideally rests overnight, we work with prepared dough and various prepared fillings in the course and knead a dough to take away.
Suitable for vegetarians - please specify when booking.
