The current special exhibition "City Vegetables" finds an enthusiastic audience. Experienced gardeners are equally attracted by this trendy topic as people without green fingers. Reason enough to carry the exhibition over into the winter and extend it until the end of April 2015.
Cold, wind and weather force even the most motivated gardeners to rest. The Mühlerama therefore invites you to various events.
In February 2015, Mühlerama , in collaboration with Miller's Studio, held a panel discussion with Hannes Hug under the title "Gardens for All". Representatives from politics, agriculture and the urban gardening scene participated. To set the mood for the topic, the American film "The Garden" was shown at the beginning of the event.
In two different workshops, those interested can prepare themselves optimally for the 2015 gardening year under the guidance of gardening expert Christine Odermatt: In the first workshop, participants will learn many exciting things about the world of tomatoes and may sow rare tomato varieties. In the second workshop, an eternit box is planted with various vegetable seedlings. A delicious harvest in summer is guaranteed afterwards.
For lower school classes, there is the popular workshop "Icicles, Roxy and Feurio! All vegetables or what? And upper school classes chop all kinds of vegetables into crispy chips in the workshop "Instead of Vegetables Chips" and learn lots of interesting facts about vegetables.
